Did Da Vinci really was a true Renaissance Man?

This picture tells me a lot of things about Leonardo. This tells me that he was a greatest artist in the city of Florence at that time period and he started to build or sketch his own inventions, for example like this flying machine that Leonardo drew. This tells me that sketching inventions are one of his hobbies when he gets bored. :P

    This image also tells us that he was a Renaissance man because he had new ideas, many theories as well as being a great artist too. This is what made him a Renaissance man.

    I like the image you chose and your explanation for it.
